OrbiScope is a mobile application that enables users to view real-time street webcam feeds, explore 3D landmark perspectives, check live traffic, and record geo-tagged photos. This Privacy Policy describes how OrbiScope processes your information when you use our app.

All data collection requires your explicit consent and authorization. We only collect the following personal data to deliver core features of the App:

2.1 Location Data

Upon your authorization, this App may retrieve the real‑time geographic location of your device, limited to real‑time regional location information only. We do not collect location history traces, residential addresses or any redundant location records. Location permission is mandatory for using features including maps, geo‑camera, traffic conditions and positioning guidance.

2.2 Camera Permission

After you grant camera permission, the application may access your device camera only when you take photos within the App. Camera permission is exclusively used for the core function of capturing photos embedded with geographic coordinates and timestamps.

2.3 Photo Library Access Permission

Once you grant photo‑library permission, the application may only access local photos captured via this App. This permission is solely used to save geotagged and time‑stamped photos to the system photo album. The App will not read, upload, modify or access other irrelevant photos, videos or files stored in your device photo library.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Purposes of Location Data

Your location data provides accurate data support for built‑in tools when you use map functions, including real‑time traffic monitoring, compass bearing positioning and geo‑camera location tagging; it also assists AI street‑view recognition to intelligently identify and describe surrounding environments.

3.2 Purposes of Camera Permission

Camera permission is only enabled for the in‑App camera function. When you manually take a photo, the App automatically attaches precise geographic coordinates and a local timestamp to the photo. This permission will not be utilised for any other hidden purposes.

3.3 Purposes of Photo Library Permission

Photo‑library permission is only used to locally save photos captured by this App with geographic and time markers on your device, allowing you to quickly view and manage your personal travel photos. The App will not read or obtain other private files from your photo album to fully protect the privacy of your local photos.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 No Voluntary Data Sharing with Third Parties

Your location data, camera‑captured content and photo‑album files are processed only locally on your device and within the necessary scope for service operation. We will not share any user information with third parties. All data processed by this application is stored solely on your local device and will not be uploaded to servers or externally disclosed.

4.2 Publication of Non‑Personal Data

Global real‑time surveillance footage, landmark videos and urban scene content displayed in the App are sourced from public online platforms. Such content constitutes public‑resource data and does not involve any of your personal privacy information.

5. Data Security

All user data is stored locally on your device. We will not transmit any of your personal data to external servers.All local data will be permanently removed once you uninstall the application.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. All data processed within the app is stored locally on users’ devices. We do not knowingly collect, receive or share any personal information from children under 13.

Disclaimer & Policy Updates

• All live stream and landmark display contents in the App are sourced from public third-party platforms. All intellectual rights belong to the original content owners. We only provide content display services and do not assume responsibility for the authenticity, integrity and legality of third-party public contents.
• You shall be solely responsible for privacy risks caused by your active authorization, manual shooting, active data sharing and other voluntary operations. We are not liable for privacy leakage caused by user independent operations.
• We will not be liable for data leakage or loss caused by uncontrollable factors including network failures, device system abnormalities, third-party service interruptions, hacker attacks and system vulnerabilities, provided that we have fulfilled sufficient security protection obligations.
